GORAN - THE MAIN CHEF

  Goran felt relaxed and Ines satisfied, for him not to be running so much. They enjoyed being with children together. Both Daniela and Stephan were cutest early in the morning when they wake-up. At that moment Ines used to fondle them, kiss them, and then put them on the toilet and dress them after-wards. Goran would usually enter after Ines dressed them and then he continues to do the same things. He didn’t need to rush to his restaurants. Most of his works are before lunch time. Sometimes he has to go to the city offices or to meet lawyers. Goran had good, confidential staff in all three restaurants, so his business has been running smoothly. 

  Jointly Ines and Goran decided to take a vacation trip with children, just to spend a few days in nature, enjoying it all together. Children were grown-up enough, able to run and play outside. They went to Algonquin Park, since it was the closest and has so many interesting things to do. Algonquin National Park is huge, about 8000 square kilometers, of different natural terrains, about a thousand lakes and fourteen pedestrian trails. In the park it’s possible to camp and the best time is to be there by the end of September and beginning of October, when the colors of trees become almost red. Goran and Ines rented a canoe, with life belts for all four, and spent about four hours, until the kids became hungry. In the late afternoon they walked, and in the evening spent a night in camp. Kids loved it very much. That was the first time for them to sleep in camp. As the park officials organize different programs, they took one for children’s activities. While children were playing with others Ines and Goran attended the program about ecology. They had spent three days in the wilderness and enjoyed it all very much. As there are good chances for fishing, Goran had just shown children how that is done, and in the evening they had a salmon for super, to show kids what is that what people ketch. Ines’s conclusion was that there is too little word in any dictionary which can fully describe all beauties of the Algonquin National Park.

When Christmas time approached both Goran and Ines went with children to buy a Christmas Three and different decorations. At home they started to decorate the three, teaching children how to do that and letting them do it by themselves too. Before Christmas Eve relatives and friends started to bring gifts, so everyone was left under the three. Ines was showing them how to leave it until Santa came to give gifts to every child. As that was their second Christmas time they were able to understand it for the first time. On Christmas Day both Daniela and Stephan got up early, believing that Santa was in their room and they started to open boxes. It was fun. There were too many toys of all sorts. They were too loud, telling what Santa brought to each of them. It was enjoyable for parents, as well. When grandmas Julie and Sandra arrived they brought their presents too, so there was even more fun. Together were all the kids, Vanya’s and Daniella’s Svemir and Venera and Natasha’s Philip with Stephan and Daniella. They all exchanged gifts and enjoyed it very much, laughing, singing and playing games.

Just a week after Christmas there was a New Year holiday and another celebration with some more gifts for children too. Goran and Ines had prepared gifts for all of their employees too, wishing them happy holidays. They have also bought presents for both of their parents. In every restaurant those days were even much busier than regularly. Especially for New Year Eve when people celebrate until early in the morning, sing, dance and spend more. Everyone expects New Year to be better than the past one, and everybody expresses their best wishes to the others.

Goran has promised Ines that in the New Year they will take a much longer trip, possibly to some other country. He told Ines: “My grandparents used to travel a lot. Especially my grandfather, he loved traveling and had visited many countries, and even wrote books and works about his impressions. I loved his writings' '.

They spoke about traveling through all Canadian provinces, as a necessity for the children's education, as well as about world traveling, both for education and enjoyment. Plan for one tour would be through Canadian Maritime Provinces, and another one to the Northern Provinces. As far as the other countries were concerned they had planned to visit Japan, China, Russia, India as well as Scandinavian, Mediterranean and South American countries.

Business in all three restaurants was going well, with good profits and growing popularity. Since the working staff was getting better and better experience Goran didn’t need to be present all the time with them, so he was spending more time with his children. At the same time he was helping Ines so that she doesn’t spend all her time with them only. By sharing time together with children, they both enjoyed and made better contacts with them. Children loved that, too.

Having more free time Goran started to write a book about healthy food cooking, “GOR-INES COOKBOOK”, as he had it in his restaurants. In book he described his rules for healthy food, recipes, caloric value of each meal, and its vitamin and mineral composition. Recipes were selected by the countries’ specialty: French, Serbian, China’s, Japanese, Greece’s, Italian and other Mediterranean’s. When published books were exhibited in every of their restaurants and mainly sold to the customers. Book was nicely illustrated and customers enjoyed having a copy after being served with an exceptional meal. Goran used to shake hands with every customer after being served and expressed their satisfaction. To a new customer he used to give business card, just to have it when recommending to their friends. In his restaurants during the meals they kept light classic and modern music, which helps for people relaxation and better mood for conversation.

Ines also liked to work from time to time in a restaurant when her mom was taking care of children. Since she is such a beautiful person she was increasing her mood too. There were cases when she brought her twins into the restaurant and guests loved to tease them. Ines is a person who tries all the time to create a positive atmosphere in any case, which most people like and remember.
